The third installment of Fatal Attraction brings us back to all those instances in Episodes 1 and 2 where Alex ran across Dan, with the exception that this time, we saw things from Alex Forrest’s point of view. Two people can think very differently even though they are in the same scenario, which has always amazed me. We frequently get into the trap of assuming that the other person is experiencing the same things we are in a certain circumstance. The entire story transforms when we see things from Alex’s point of view, and we are given access to a reality that we didn’t know existed. Fatal Attraction’s first two episodes made it clear that Alex had a mental illness and that her demeanor and mannerisms were a little off-putting. We weren’t sure if she genuinely had a disease or if she was just being impulsive at the time and getting provoked by something. However, Episode 3 pulls back the curtain and reveals that Alex had numerous problems overall and that the issue went much deeper. Let’s find out what happened in episode 3 and whether Mike and Dan made any progress in uncovering the truth about what actually transpired on that critical day 15 years ago.

Was Alex Suffering From Some Mental Disorder?
The third installment of Fatal Attraction dispels our concerns regarding whether Alex was only accidentally in Dan’s vicinity or whether she was faking serendipity. Dan was the object of Alex’s attraction, and she made a deliberate effort to cross his path and drop signals that she was thinking about him. She occasionally winked at him in the courtroom lobby, and another time she complimented him by remarking that the judges’ attention was diverted from his arguments’ merits by the attractiveness of his face. The clues she dropped were often fairly overt. Alex also planned the moment when the cafe’s fire alarm went out and water began to fall from the roof. She was aware that if their clothing became wet, she would have a justification to bring Dan to her house to change. It appeared as though Alex was fixated on Dan and would stop at nothing to win him over. She was aware that he was married, and she never considered how her actions would harm another lady. Dan must share equal responsibility in this regard because, in the end, it was his wife who would have suffered permanent scars.
Beginning with Fatal Attraction Episode 3, we saw Alex attempting to speak with her former therapist and being frustrated when she learned that the therapist lacked the accreditation necessary to provide patient advice in California. Even though the therapist’s advice was completely logical, Alex nevertheless felt abandoned. Alex believed that she was merely attempting to heed her friend’s recommendations because they were acquainted. When the therapist hung up the phone, Alex was left wondering what she had done to deserve such a rude response. Similar circumstances occurred with Paul Halliwell, Alex’s neighbor, who had abruptly stopped returning her calls. Alex approached him and gave him a piece of her mind, telling him that he was unworthy of the title of friend. Alex may have had severe abandonment difficulties as a result of having a borderline personality condition. if she lost control while acting out in a fit of wrath and started harming herself. She quickly came to her wits and recognized her error, but by then the ship would have sailed.
Fatal Attraction Episode 3 Ending Explained: What Did Dan And Mike Find In The Fingerprint Report?
Alex didn’t take the medications, contrary to what we predicted in the articles on Episodes 1 and 2. She was pretending to because she merely want Dan’s attention and wished to prevent him from leaving. After the incident, Alex realized that things had gone out of hand and that damage control was necessary. She expressed her regret to Dan and enquired as to if they might continue to get together for a drink every now and then. Dan was moved by her since, up until that point, he had assumed that she liked him and was begging him to spend some time with her. Alex felt relieved when Dan gave her a hug, almost like she had her breath back. Dan had urged Alex in earlier episodes to obtain the testimony of Tracy Sims, a patient whose case he was managing. Dan was overjoyed to learn that Alex had accomplished the seemingly impossible by telling her that Tracy had handed her the statement.
However, he learned in the third episode of Fatal Attraction that Tracy had been brought to the hospital brain dead, so no one could have coerced her into making the statement. Dan was upset, and he was entitled to be since Alex had jeopardized his entire career. He would have been accused of inventing fake evidence and had his right to practice law been revoked if he had made his case in front of the judge. In an effort to sell their home, Dan and Beth hosted an open house for potential buyers. When Dan returned home, he discovered Alex talking to Beth inside the house. Dan and Alex lied that they weren’t particularly close friends and had just occasionally crossed paths at the court. Dan went to Alex’s house to warn her about the potential repercussions of her conduct since he thought she was attempting to intimidate him. Dan warned her that if she attempted to visit his home once again, he would ensure that her career was ruined.
Mike had requested a retest on each of the fingerprints that the police had discovered 15 years prior at the crime scene. Mike thought that since technology had improved, they might discover some information that they had missed all those years ago. Mike received the results near the end of Fatal Attraction Episode 3, and they revealed that one of the prints belonged to a man who was incarcerated in Calipatria. Surprisingly, the man was Paul Halliwell, Alex’s neighbor, who was attempting to avoid her for an unknown reason. We saw in Episode 3 how it worried Alex when Paul stopped communicating with her. After he vanished, Alex made an effort to get in touch with him and begged him over the phone to come back because she needed him. The future episode will reveal how Paul was connected to the case as a whole and whether Dan can establish his innocence as the assassin of Alex Forrest.
