Would you like to be able to check how many alerts are on your iPhone’s Lock Screen without having to unlock it? You may now do that with iOS 17. I’ll walk you through setting up and customizing your lock screen to get countdown notifications in this blog post.
Change notification display layout from Settings
- Open Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap Notifications.
- Choose Display As Select Count.
That’s all!
You will now see a count on your lock screen each time you receive a notice. You can swipe them up or tap them to get access to them.
Another option is to swipe down or squeeze all of the alerts when you see them on the Lock Screen. The number will appear at the bottom as a result. But keep in mind that this is only a temporary solution, and the number badge will vanish each time you get a new notification.
Q&As
Notifications that show up at the top of your iPhone screen are called banner alerts. On the other hand, badges are tiny red circles or numbers that show you the number of unread notifications when they hover over an app icon.
Notifications in OpenSettingsChoose an app under Notification Style, then select the alert style under Alerts.
Regretfully, your iPhone is unable to see cleared notifications. Once you receive alerts, you can only view them; once you clear them, you cannot view them again.
That’s all.
Apple has addressed the persistent problem of notification crowding in the most recent version of iOS. Not only can you arrange the notifications, but you can also enable counts and conceal them. Do you favor the notification count over the standard stacking of notifications? Tell me in the comments section below.
