Jae Hyun’s desire in Pandora and his fixation with his wife: Everything else was wrong because what he wanted was the only thing that was right beneath the Paradise. On the foundation of this network of falsehoods, he had been able to create a stunning existence for himself. Before Hong Tae Ra regained her memories, HATCH enjoyed great success, and she was as in love with him as she possibly could be. He had created the perfect life for himself through his lies, and he saw no reason why a few uncomfortable truths should change that. In all honesty, perhaps by saving Hong Tae Ra more than ten years ago, he did her a favor. He made a reality for her that suited him, and there is where he erred, rather than giving her back control of her own life. The same thing is done by Jae Hyun with HATCH. Although he was aware that the technology they were using was not ideal, he had no problem using humans in his experiments despite the fact that doing so would put their lives in danger. He was removing their option once more. Everything was about Jae Hyun’s desires, which he ruthlessly enforced. He had no idea of free will.
How Does Tae Ra Plan Her Revenge?
Even when Tae Ra’s memories returned in Pandora: Beneath the Paradise and she made it apparent to Jae Hyun that she did not want this life and resented him for doing it to her, he nevertheless attempted to wipe her memories once more in order to transform her back into his wife and Jiu’s mother. Despite the fact that Hae Soo was like a sister to Tae Ra, the man killed her brother knowing how much he meant to her and had plans to render her absolutely helpless. You don’t treat someone you love in this manner. It’s utter crazy at this point. Tae Ra concludes that the only way to triumph over him is to use his own strategy. Jae Hyun believes that Hae Soo is the sole threat or bother, and he intends for Yoo Tae to murder her. Tae Ra buys time by poisoning his drink and rendering him comatose. She will then tell Min Young Hwi what she knows about Jae Hyun. She demonstrates to her how he and Sung Chan were accountable for Kyo Jin’s coma and seeming demise.
Young Hwi, who has been crushed, meets Sung Chan and stabs him in the neck as he confesses his deeds without showing any remorse. When she again encounters Jae Hyun, he is not as sorry as Sung Chan was and is able to knock her to the ground. He had no idea that this entire exchange was being broadcast to the entire world, and by the time he left, it was already finished. Fortunately for Jae Hyun, Tae Ra is present and insists that he is not guilty. This demonstrates to Jae Hyun that at least his beloved companion is still by his side. But as she drives off the cliff with them both in the car, he is in for a rude awakening when he learns that Tae Ra never lost her memories. Once more, Jae Hyun intervenes to help her, but he is caught in a trap.
What Happens To Jae Hyun In The End?
With the aid of Do Jin, who was waiting by the coast after their accident, Tae Ra makes it appear as though Jae Hyun has died following the catastrophic disclosures for Jae Hyun in Pandora: Beneath the Paradise. Within the following 24 hours, she addresses the media and tells the whole truth, albeit with some modifications. She asserts that she was completely unprepared and that everyone else was also taken by surprise. She requests to be given Jae Hyun’s body so that she can give final rites. Jae Hyun is still alive, though, and they have prepared a specific punishment for him. Using Jae Hyun’s memories, Kyo Jin, who has survived the temple explosion, creates a world in which Tae Ra is unknown. To Jae Hyun’s dismay, she is even married to Kyo Jin in one of them. Jae Hyun keeps having visions of this life where he loses all of his authority, gets imprisoned, and is on the verge of being labeled a lunatic because no one but him is aware that he was married and had a daughter.
Tae Ra begins by asking to resume her prior identity as Mun Ha Gyeong in the real world. To have the chip out of her brain and begin a fresh life with her kid, she intends to travel abroad. Jiu still has no idea what her father did and thinks he is preoccupied with his presidential duties. When the time comes, Tae Ra dreads having to tell Jiu the truth. Do Jin and Hae Soo make the decision to get a divorce and split. Truly, Do Jin has lost everything. He can no longer refer to Young Hwi as his mother; he and his brother can never have a normal sibling connection; and he has now also lost his wife. Due to his desire to live out the remainder of his days by himself, exercising authority, and confessing his misdeeds, his father in prison is unwilling to communicate with him. However, Young Hwi remains a loose end in the whole affair. After learning that Kyo Jin is still alive, she travels to see him. Kyo Jin claims that he no longer considers her to be his mother and that he doesn’t want to see her. However, Young Hwi is tenacious. However, a minor electronic malfunction wakes up Jae Hyun, who then attacks Kyo Jin.
Young Hwi attempts to save him but perishes in the process. Jae Hyun, however, seems unconcerned with Kyo Jin. He quickly returns home and changes back into the old Jae Hyun. Since Tae Ra thinks Jae Hyun abducted Hae Soo, she needs to return from the airport to deal with him. However, it turns out that was a ruse, and Hae Soo is secure. Do Jin and Hae Soo are pleading with Jae Hyun to release Tae Ra, but he is distracted and has a gun to her head. He only wants his daughter to think highly of him after everything he went through in the simulations. Additionally, he is aware that his life is over and that he will never be the same Jae Hyun again—not just due to public opinion, but also because of how severely his crimes have affected him. He shoots himself to death after coming to that knowledge, and his body tumbles off the cliff.
After some time, Tae Ra relocates to Switzerland with her daughter. When Kyo Jin visits her in her new home at the conclusion of Pandora: Beneath the Paradise, it appears that he has undergone plastic surgery to treat his burn scars. Tae Ra appears to be joyful, yet it is obvious that the suffering she has experienced weighs heavily on her heart. To her surprise, she discovers lightning marks on Kyo Jin’s back that resemble those on Jae Hyun when she checks on him. When Jae Hyun killed Yoo Ra, he received those marks. He had been injured by the lightning that night, and those marks were the result of that. They can’t possibly imply anything positive by being on Kyo Jin’s back. Kyo Jin notices Jae Hyun’s expression when she turns to see Tae Ra.
What Can We Expect From Season 2?
Jae Hyun’s return could indicate a number of things. First of all, I can’t believe Jae Hyun made it through that fall. However, the trope of extensive plastic surgery and unbelievable plot twists is one that this series loves to use. It wouldn’t be unjust to presume that Jae Hyun and Kyo Jin had some sort of relationship before the latter awoke from his coma. If that occurs, he might be one of the puppeteers working behind the scenes to play the villain in Pandora: Beneath the Paradise Season 2. However, Tae Ra having PTSD would be a more logical explanation. Everything she experienced had to have an impact on her psyche. Maybe she’s just having a dream. Or perhaps, just perhaps, someone is simulating Tae Ra the same way she did Jae Hyun. There are several possible explanations for this conclusion.
We don’t expect much from the other characters because Jang Geun Mo has made repentance the only goal of his entire life. Given that they no longer have the advantages of nepotism to cling to, Hae Soo and Do Jin may be finding it difficult to reestablish themselves in society. Kyo Jin is the next. Once he has dealt with his trauma, he might want to return to his research. We might witness these events if there is a Pandora: Beneath the Paradise Season 2, or it could be that some other undiscovered plot has utterly flipped all of their lives upside down. This is still up in the air.
