The Good Bad Mother Episode 3 was far from the emotional rollercoaster we had anticipated. Fortunately, we enjoy subtle melodrama, which is why the show does well. This is the course of Episode 3.

What Motivated Oh Tae Soo’s Attempt to Kill Kang Ho?
Kang Ho’s accident is reported to Chairman Song Woo Byeok, who is then taken directly to the hospital. He doesn’t seem very saddened by the tragedy, but he does know that Oh Tae Soo must be to blame as the truck that caused the accident was a burner truck that was discovered nearby smoking in flames. In a flashback, we learn that our assumption was accurate. Ha Young consciously made an excuse to stop the car on the side of the road and get out after she seized control of the steering after purposefully tainted Kang Ho’s bottle of water. The vehicle struck the car when she did it. Oh Tae Soo presumably arranged all of this so that no one could use his crimes against him as leverage to blackmail him and that he could marry Ha Young however he saw proper to advance his political ambitions. Ha Young follows her father’s instructions, but as a result, her panic problem gets worse. She thought Kang Ho was supposed to die in the accident, so learning that he is still alive makes her nervous.
How Does Young Soon Take Care Of Kang Ho?
Ha Young is unable to be found, and she hasn’t left a contact number, so Young Soon discovers that she and Kang Ho are stuck at the hospital by themselves. Young Soon tirelessly cares for Kang Ho while he is in a coma till he awakens. The people are looking after her farm back home. When Kang Ho awakens in the hospital, Young Soon finds that he is paralyzed from the neck down. His thoughts has also gone back to when he was seven years old. The word that the characters in the play seem to like to describe this is foolish. Young Soon brings him back to her house without letting anyone know he is there. She informs the locals that he has returned to work. However, two of her friends, Mrs. Park (the mother of Sam Sik) and Mrs. Jung (the mother of Mi Joo), who come to see her soon learn of her secret. Young Soon then acknowledges that she would have believed Kang Ho was living a life worse than death if she had been in his shoes. But now that Kang Ho is there, she is only relieved that he is still alive but is skeptical that everyone will share her perspective, which is why she chose to keep it a secret. She finds solace in the fact that this is not the case, but word of Kang Ho’s condition quickly gets across the town. Young Soon is overcome by the fact that everyone is coming together in favor of her even if it feeds the usual gossip machine.
When she returns home, Young Soon discovers that Kang Ho simply won’t eat the food she prepares. She does not comprehend why it is the case. After many days of this, Kang Ho eventually passes out from weakness. Young Soon becomes a little irate over this, and Kang Ho then explains that he is not eating because he doesn’t want to feel sleepy because then he won’t be able to study. Young Soon sobs as she realizes the repercussions of her actions and is forced to face the harm she has caused to her kid. She tells him he won’t have to do that any longer and tells him to eat as much as he wants.
Why Is Kang Ho Being Sent To The Rehab?
Kang Ho’s ability to move his hands seems to come and go, but over time Young Soon learns that it may exist. Andrea, a Canadian man interested in learning about pig farms, gives her the notion that luring Kang Ho with food would encourage him to attempt to move his hand. She acts in that manner. Despite setting a tray of food in front of him, she does not eat anything. Kang Ho is left without food and unable to use his hands once more. After a few months of this, Kang Ho is finally able to pick up the spoon out of pure irritation and hunger. His mother, who had been attempting to secure him a place at the recovery facility, had just learned that there was a spot available for him. At the conclusion of The Good Bad Mother episode three, Young Soon finds Kang Ho eating by himself just as she is ready to tell him about the opening. This proves that her ruse was successful.
Young Soon intended to take care of him better by sending him to the treatment facility. He would be, without a doubt, but some of his treatment appears to be related to his early years, which only Young Soon is aware of. Kang Ho’s refusal to consume his meals was inexplicable to the hospital. They wouldn’t have attempted to deceive him into starving to death. Young Soon uses a few unconventional techniques, yet they are effective. Additionally, she will have the opportunity to spend more time with her son, something she needs to do to make up for the years she has spent apart. Given these elements, Young Soon may choose to handle his treatment herself.
Final Thoughts
The Good Bad Mother may get a touch monotonous in the future, we suspect. We have a suspicion that it is not supported by any factual evidence, thus you would be correct if you disagree with us. The majority of Kang Ho’s persona in this episode was passive, but we are aware that he will become more childlike in the next episodes, which will be amusing. We also have a slight crush on Mi Joo’s children Ye Jin and Seo Jin. We anticipate these events because it is certain that Kang Ho will be friends with them.
