Helen was aware of the hazards she would face the moment she joined Omega Sector, but in True Lies Episode 9, after participating in multiple dangerous missions, Helen began to feel even more terrified. She confided in Harry that she was picturing the worst situations. What would happen if one of them actually perished, she questioned him. She was worried about her kids and what would happen to them if they returned on one of their missions without her. Helen began to feel that they didn’t have enough time to take pleasure in life’s simple pleasures and spend some alone time. Harry wanted to have a sexual relationship with Helen, but he was unable to do so because he was still recovering from an injury he sustained while battling a criminal.
Since we saw an ex-Omega agent being reduced to ashes when a missile struck him and his car exploding while he was in it at the beginning of True Lies Episode 9, Helen’s worries were not unfounded. The following morning, Harry wanted to reassure Helen that he would always look out for her and their kids, but just then, they received a briefing call from the counterintelligence unit, so they had to stop what they were doing and run to Omega Sector headquarters.
A Mission To Save Ex-Agents
The retired agents of Omega Sector had been the target of cold-blooded murder. The leader of the counterintelligence team, Rex Kelly, gave Harry and other members of the group a mission briefing and explained that two of their ex-agents, Cal Haskin and Lance Dale, had recently been slain, and they needed to determine who was responsible for the attack. Since the identities of the agents who worked on covert operations were never made public by the agency, Kelly thought that the group or person behind these attacks had access to classified information. The assailant was aware of the identities of Cal Haskin and Lance Dale, as well as where they resided and the best way to kill them. The Omega Sector had no prospective leads from the crime scenes because the attackers had left no evidence behind. The only thing Omega Sector could do at this point was to ensure the safety of the other two team members as Cal and Lance were one of a four-person squad. Kelly wanted the team to question Arnie Orwig and Sharon Heinz, the two remaining members, to find out whether they had any knowledge of a possible adversary that might have existed in the past. Helen’s anxiety increased after the briefing, and she looked at Harry as if to warn him that whatever she had been worrying about would actually occur.
Omega Sector Meets Arnie And Sharon.
Back in the day, Arnie and Sharon were a couple, but after the worst split, they never reconnected. Arnie used to live in the woods, and to protect himself from dangers, he had implemented a variety of security measures. Harry and Helen stopped Arnie from shooting just in time by reassuring him that they had come because they feared for his safety. Helen questioned whether they would also turn out to be like Arnie in their old age after observing his anxiety over his safety. Though it was a frightening thought, Helen was aware that for the time being, there was nothing she could do. Arnie explained to Harry and Helen that his little unit’s members began blaming one another for a mission that had gone badly 15 years earlier. Arnie and Sharon’s friendship at the time didn’t help matters either, as Lance Dale, who was thought to be dead at the time of True Lies Episode 9, suffered serious injuries during that mission. Harry explained to Arnie that he would need to go with them to Sharon’s house since they just couldn’t leave him there given the immediate danger to his life. Harry practically had to drudge Arnie along with him since he simply didn’t want to face Sharon again after 15 years.
Arnold learned that Helen and Harry had been married for the previous 17 years while they were traveling, and he couldn’t help but warn them that what they were doing was the worst thing that could happen. Arnie warned them that dating a coworker in the Omega sector was impossible and that things would inevitably get worse over time based on his own experiences. Even Sharon was a little taken aback to see Arnie at her door when the Omega Sector crew arrived. She wasted no time in landing a blow and shattering her ex’s nose. As time was running out and the killer was still on the loose, Gib had to exit his van to persuade Arnie and Sharon to behave like adults after they got into a quarrel once more.
Who Was Killing The Ex-Agents?
Harry noticed a specific element that drew his eye. Lance Dale was a field man, but Arnie also mentioned that he was very interested in research. He claimed that Lance’s workspace was constantly crammed with papers and other items, and that there was typically nowhere to even sit. After he was killed, Omega Sector searched his home but didn’t discover any such files or documents there. Harry came to the conclusion that he likely kept all of his work-related paperwork in another home as a result. Lance suspected that a covert group by the name of Krypsys was monitoring the Omega Sector’s actions and maintaining a record of all their missions, and Sharon revealed this to Helen. Sharon claimed that despite their best efforts, they had never been able to locate any proof of the existence of this group.
Gib whittled down the possibilities for Lance’s possible hiding spots. Looking at the map, Arnie and Sharon discovered a location that they thought would be the secret location where Lance conducted all of this study. When they arrived to the residence, they saw that it was littered with numerous documents, many of which were pinned to the walls. When a gang surrounded the building and began firing at them without any prior notice, the team realized they were getting close to cracking the case.
In True Lies Episode 9, it was revealed that Lance was still alive and that he had killed Cal Haskin, his coworker, in order to make it appear as though an alien group had committed the murder. Lance had teamed up with Krypsys after leaving the Omega Sector since they actually existed. Lance harbored a deep-seated grudge against the Omega sector because no one had taken him seriously when he attempted to inform them of Krypsys. Lance also believed that his teammates had abandoned him during their most recent assignment. Lance planned to murder his coworkers and exact retribution for what had transpired 15 years earlier because he believed Omega Sector had failed him.
Harry and his squad made the decision to attempt a counterattack, but they were aware that they were outnumbered and that only a miracle could help them escape. Just like in the past, Arnie and Sharon took the initiative and decided to put an end to the situation. They determined that the only option to spare Harry and his team’s life was to blow up the box containing the explosives kept inside Lance’s truck. When they hit the target, there was a huge explosion that left Lance and the entire group of Krypsys soldiers in ruins. Harry and others assumed Arnie and Sharon perished in the explosion because they were nowhere to be discovered.
Were Arnie And Sharon Dead Or Alive?
We assume that Arnie and Sharon must have found a means to make it appear that they had died while in fact they had escaped because their remains weren’t discovered at the location. Arnie and Sharon must have thought that pretending to be dead was the best way to avoid being discovered by the Krypsys. Even though Sharon and Arnie had not spoken in years, they still showed their love for one another by their actions, which is likely why they were able to work out their disagreements and begin living together. Although a portion of Krypsys had been destroyed, the threat had not been eliminated and the shadow organization was still largely active. Evidently drawn to one another, Luther and Maria cared if the other person felt awful about the activities of the other. But Maria was envious because Luther was seeing Quinn. They would eventually understand that they were meant to be together. At the conclusion of True Lies Episode 9, Eva and Gib made up and the former decided to give their love another go. Harry and Helen made the decision to let go of their anxiety and worry, accept life as it came, and cherish the fleeting moments they could occasionally steal.
