In Waco: The Aftermath’s third episode, Gary Noesner was getting closer to learning the truth, which increased the tension. Gary needed to uncover prospective leads immediately because he was aware that he had a finite amount of time. Dan Cogdell was attempting to refute the ATF and FBI agents’ testimonies at the same time, but he kept hitting obstacles. Dan had the ideal strategy for handling the situation, but he struggled to locate the proof to back up his assertions. In the third episode, David Koresh refers to himself as the Messiah for the first time. Although I wouldn’t say that he had a superiority complex, it was clear that he saw himself as the supreme authority in terms of faith and religion.

How Does Dan Cogdell Get Valuable Intel?
In Waco: The Aftermath, Episode 3, Dan learned that ATF agent Jamie Helliver will provide evidence against Livingstone Fagan. Livingstone was Rocket Rosen’s client, and everyone was aware of Rocket’s emotional nature and propensity for losing his cool when battling for causes to which he was deeply committed. Dan was aware that Rocket could be both strong and vulnerable due to his emotions. However, he was also aware that the case had reached a turning point and that he needed to proceed with extreme caution at every turn. Dan was informed that Gordon Novel, the former CIA agent he had met in the restroom, had not been lying when he claimed to have important information. Although he was well-connected, Gordon was infamous for his unpredictable behavior and erratic attitude.
Novel informed Dan that no Branch Davidian had an autopsy performed because there was a power outage in the mortuary, and that this information had been withheld from the public and the legal system. Dan rushed outside to greet Novel as he entered the courthouse just as the trial was about to begin. Novel showed Dan a document that claimed that when the Texas Rangers asked Agent Helliver to identify Livingstone Fagan, they thought he wasn’t sure. Dan delivered the affidavit that the ranger had also provided and signed in court right away. Dan was aware that the defendants now had the upper hand, but Roger lost his cool and referred to Agent Helliver as a racist and claimed that the ATF was notorious for fostering that type of mentality. Everyone saw that Rocket’s actions were unneeded and that he might have used the Texas Rangers report to cast doubt on the jury by concentrating on it.
Why Did Koresh Want Livingstone To Stay?
No one could ever dispute that Koresh was either a fake or a messiah, but there were two things about him that were indisputable: He has unfathomable knowledge of the Bible and other sacred texts. He had not only carefully read the Bible but also knew every word of every passage. Anyone listening to him could not help but be impressed by the level of knowledge he possessed. The second skill Koresh possessed was the ability to persuade others to comply with his wishes. Many people wanted to leave Mount Carmel, but Koresh used his strategies to keep them there instead. On the surface, Koresh appeared to be open to debates and had an open mind, but in truth, he was obstinate and wouldn’t accept no for an answer. In Waco: The Aftermath, Episode 3, Koresh visited Nottingham, England’s Newbold College in 1986 to deliver a lecture to the students. It was there that he first met Livingstone Fagan. It was like listening to two persons who had dedicated their entire lives to comprehending and appreciating the Bible and other religious texts while Livingstone and Koresh debated. At the conclusion of the discussion, Koresh was quite taken with Livingstone and extended the invitation for him to visit Texas and join his commune.
Lois Roden agreed to meet Koresh and the others for Passover dinner and traveled to Texas to accept his invitation. The situation was going well until Lois requested Koresh return to Mount Carmel. At that point, Koresh lost his cool and told Lois that she was no better than a pharaoh and that her rule had caused chaos. God, according to Koresh, had decided to remain in Texas with Koresh rather than with Lois and her adherents. Later that year, Lois passed away, and George, her son, blamed Koresh for her demise. David Koresh frequently referred to himself as the lamb and the root of David in his lectures, and Livingstone was aware that he believed himself to be the Messiah. Livingstone wished to return, but Koresh was aware that no one else shared his interpretation of the holy texts. Koresh couldn’t afford to lose Livingstone since he was essential to spreading his message once he was gone. Although it appeared that the self-anointed Messiah wanted him for his own personal gain, Koresh told Livingstone that God was requesting that he stay.
Waco: The Aftermath Episode 3 Ending Explained: Was Carol Bluffing With Gary Noesner?
Noesner was aware that he needed to locate some proof right now to demonstrate that a holy war was being prepared in Elohim City. Gary went to see Richard Snell, a white supremacist who considered Pappy Millar to be his savior and who was himself. Pappy used to pay Snell frequent visits when he was inside, which is what drew Noesner’s eye. After shooting a black police officer and pawnshop owner he thought to be Jewish, Richard was sentenced to death in Arkansas. Richard was a guy consumed with rage, and if given the chance, he would launch an immediate battle against the US government. Noesner understood that there was no use in interrogating Richard because he wouldn’t divulge anything, but something he mentioned regarding April 19 drew his interest. On that day, Richard claimed, he would eat his final supper, at which point the authorities would understand who they had messed with. Noesner was aware that he needed a source inside Elohim City who could advise him of what will occur on April 19. In the third episode of Waco: The Aftermath, Noesner turns back to Carol and begs for assistance. Carol informs him that she frequently overheard Mad Bill discussing their upcoming retaliation on April 19. Noesner assured Carol that he would compensate her if she agreed to serve as his informant. When Carol joined the crew, she gave Noesner a note that she wanted him to carry to her father in case something happened to her before beginning her mission.
Carol had to enter a bar to request permission to stay at the home of Becca, a resident of Elohim City. After a fight broke out in the bar, Carol and Becca escaped, and Noesner’s colleague believed that she had abandoned them after using them to obtain money. However, Noesner didn’t think Carol was playing a ruse on them. To confirm that Carol had genuine intentions to assist them, he opened the letter she had handed him. Carol assured her father in the letter that, for once in her life, she would follow the moral path. Carol had set out on the journey in an effort to atone for her sins and seek forgiveness. We learn at the conclusion of Waco: The Aftermath, Episode 3, that Noesner trusted Carol with his life for a reason. Carol wasn’t trying to trick him; in fact, she was putting her life in danger in order to sneak into Elohim City, reveal the information, and learn about their grand plan for April 19. The notorious Pappy Miller himself arrived at the entrance with his hounds to check on the new guest after the security was tightened. Carol was able to enter, and in following episodes, we’ll see her telling Noesner about the D-Day preparations taking place in the city.
